Our environmental promise

Who do we support?

We understand the impact our vans have while traveling through the countryside, which is why we're committed to giving back. By donating £10 from every booking to environmental charities, we're taking steps to offset our footprint and contribute positively to the planet.  We’ll update you on where contributions go and the causes we aim to support.

Preserving our marine environment

Seagrass is an incredibly important plant for the ocean and our planet, but it's extremely vulnerable to human activity and environmental change.  There are organisations around the British Isles, working to protect and recover seagrass meadows in UK seas, a vital habitat for animals and a key tool in the fight to combat climate change.

We pledge to give £5 from every booking to a charitable organisation working to protect our marine environment.

Rewilding and managing woodland habitats

In 2025 a report by The Woodland Trust highlighted that the nation's once rich, complex woodlands have become simpler and less biodiverse.  There are fewer older trees, which lock in carbon.  Many have little or no dead-wood, which is a vital habitat and food source.  The distance between woodland sanctuaries is so great that wildlife can't travel between sites.

We pledge to give £5 from every booking to a charitable organisation working to protect our beautiful woodlands.

What can you do to help?

You can safeguard the environment by adopting “leave no trace” practices and following the Countryside Code

It is essential to dispose of your chemical toilet waste responsibly to protect our environment and public health. Proper disposal methods, such as using designated waste disposal facilities at campsites, ensure that harmful substances do not contaminate the ground, waterways, or drainage systems. Remember, there is no acceptable reason for improper disposal.

Go one step further and pick up any litter that you find near your spot.  Not only does it help clean up the environment, making a visible difference might help communities be more tolerant of camper-van stop-overs.
